TASVEER, is a story of Jai, a young man in his30's that has a supernatural gift of being able todelve in the past of dead people by touching anobject belonging to them. His family, friends andeven he at times is skeptical of this said powerbut Jai manages to eke out a living in this landso steeped in belief of the supernatural. Hisfather, Jatin, though, feels very strongly thathis son is wasting his life away on 'mumbo jumbo'instead of managing the vast business empire hehas created and this leads to a complete breakdownof relationship between the two. Jai's motherSavitri cannot bear to be estranged from her onlyson and maintains a secret contact withJai. Jai's wife Sheela, the love of his life, isgrudgingly supportive of her husband but has a'real 'job and is the actual bread- winner of thefamily. Life goes on as they know or choose it tountil Jatin is killed in a boating Accident andJai feels wretched about losing his father and thetimes that could've been shared. He stumbles uponthe last photograph taken of the entire group offriends and family on the boat, minutes before theAccident. Jai gets pulled into the photograph andrealizes that it was no accident and that fatherwas actually murdered. Consumed with grief andcuriosity, he starts to investigate by undertakingthe Dangerous experience of going into thephotograph to find the truth. He finds out thatevery person had a motive and every person couldnot have committed this heinous crime. Heeventually unravels the mystery and in a nailbiting finish comes up with a startlinganswer.
