Salman Khan takes part in Congress road show

Bollywood actor Salman Khan took part in a road show, organised by South Mumbai Congress candidate Milind Deora in his constituency.

Mr Khan, attired in a green T-shirt and Blue jeans, moved in a truck, accompanied by Mr Milind, State Minister for Home Arif Naseem Khan and other Congress leaders.

He went through Crowford Market, Dongri, J J Marg, Byculla and Nagpada areas and requested voters to vote for the Congress. People in congested localities waved out to Salman, who had recently campaigned for Vinod Khanna, a BJP candidate, in Punjab. 

The Salman magic worked even on a Sunday evening. There were huge crowds in the bylanes of Bhendi Bazaar and Nagpada. It resulted in traffic snarls spilling on to the nearby arterial roads.
